Roughly five years ago, we had a heated discussion on this topic [lwn].
After that heated discussion, we eventually created an unofficial document
named ML-policy [ml-policy] to clarify some of the issues.

Open Source Initiative has defined Open Source AI Definition (OSAID) [osaid].
TPTOF may comply with the the OSAID version 1.0, but does not comply with the
current proposal, as discussed [data-access][concerns].  Free Software
Foundation (FSF) is working on similar topics concurrently [fsf].
